Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who became a household name on television when she was played by Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. In the last decade, she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV shows. The singer also released a few singles that weren't albums. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love country music. Then she decided to pursue the career of a recording artist. However, her first professional role was as an actress in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was a teenager. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre I Won't Let Go. It was featured later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in mid 2012. The song was a part of in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. The singer focused her attention on her singing career while still acting and was a part of films which enticed her fans, like Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. Thanks to the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of three on country's album chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd edition ended with her finishing 4th. That same year, the song It's like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser became an enormous adult contemporary success.
