Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American performer and actress. She began by releasing humorous, cleverly written music that tackled questions of racial identity and sexuality. Then she expanded her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop in her teen years. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin in Beijing. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet and was later released on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. This album also featured songs that were viral such as body-positive Queef or the winking city tour NYC Bitche$. The track that was the last one to be connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was which was published in 2015. A musician and author was in her portfolio, she decided to began looking for a third endeavor actor. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors to Storks. In 2018, she landed a number of breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"In Fina We Trust in June of the year.
