Bella Poarch
Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her adoption took place when she was three by her maternal grandmother living in slums. Her adopted family is comprised up of an Filipino adoptive mother as well as white American army veteran. Her mother claims that she and her brother who was adopted as infants, were subject to abuse until they enlisted. Her family lived with her Uncle living in San Francisco for several months before returning to Texas to celebrate her 13th birthday in the wake of the need of her father to undergo bypass surgery. Although the physical violence subsided however, she claimed to have endured psychological assault from her father at home. In 18 years she joined the United States Navy. Poarch created her TikTok profile in April of 2020. In just eight months, she had more than forty million followers. Her most notable success came from the music video she created for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her synchronized lip-syncing to the song and leaping in time to it was a viral video that became TikTok's top-rated video. In order to capitalize on the popularity she gained after joining TikTok in December 2016, Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Her popularity grew rapidly until the December month in 2020. Her burgeoning fame reportedly attracted two of the most prestigious professionally-run Esports Teams. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have expressed an interest to have her as a freelance content creator for their respective brands.
